SRINAGAR: At least three persons including a husband-wife duo were injured in a road accident along the highway at Margund area of Kangan in Central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Wednesday.

Quoting an official the news agency KNO reported that three persons were injured after a load carrier bearing registration number JK01AJ-2053 driven by Abid Ahmad Mir, son of Mushtaq Ahmad of Illahibagh Soura, Srinagar collided with another load carrier bearing registration number JK05G-9618 driven by Muhammad Ramzan Malik, son of Sabir Ali of Nagrota Jammu, resulting injuries to three persons.

The injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Kangan, where from Ruksana, wife of Mehraj-ud-din Malik of Nagrota Jammu was referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.

The injured have been identified as Mehraj-ud-din Malik, son of Sabir Ali, Muhammad Ramzan Malik, son of Sabir Ali and Ruksana, wife of Mehraj-ud-din—all residents of Nagrota Jammu.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case at Police Station Kangan in this regard and further investigation has been started.
