A couple was killed while their three children sustained injuries after a car they were travelling in met with an accident in Jammu Kashmir’s Doda district on Sunday.
Reports said that a family was on its way from chilly Bala to Doda when their car skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge near Mukhyas, resulting in the death of a couple and injuries to their three children.
The deceased couple identified as Santoshi Devi, 55, and her husband Bodh Raj Manhas, 61, were rushed to sub-district hospital Gandoh, were they both succumbed to their injuries. While their injured children identified as Deepak Singh, Verta and Poonam area being treated in Doda hospital.
Meanwhile, police have registered a case in this regard.
