Srinagar court on Tuesday extended the judicial remand of journalist Aasif Sultan who was arrested last month by the Jammu and Kashmir, till October 10.
Reports said that a court in Srinagar while hearing his bail plea extended his remand till October 10.
Sultan, who works with a local news magazine, was arrested last week from his home in Batamaloo Srinagar, by police for his alleged involvement with militancy.
Earlier, there were several protests and many journalist bodies including national and international have called for his immediate release.
