SRINAGAR: As many as 85 samples that were diagnosed for Covid-19 at the SKIMS laboratory have turned positive, officials said.

Dr Ghulam Hassan Yatoo Deputy Medical Superintendent SKIMS told Kashmir Life that 85 persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at the SKIMS laboratory.

“Of the 85 new cases, 15 are from CRPF Battalions, 29 from Shopian, 15 from Pulwama, 09 from Srinagar, 06 from Anantnag, 2 from Budgam, 1 from Kupwara, 1 from Kulgam, 3 from Baramulla, 1 from Ganderbal and three from Mumbai,” he said. “We are in the process of getting the details of the individuals.

He said 2550 samples had been tested at the lab in 24 hours out of which 2465 were reported negative.

As of now, J&K has 7582 cases, out of which 2759 are Active Positive, 4722 have recovered and 104 have died.
