SRINAGAR: Seventeen more persons including two newborn babies were discharged from JLNM hospital Rainawari on Saturday after their repeat samples tested negative.
Nodal Officer COVID-19 control, JLNM hospital Srinagar Dr Bilquies Shah said of these 17 patients all are from district Srinagar except one from district Kupwara.
Dr Shah said all patients were discharged after 12-14 days and all these patients were symptomatic.
“One pregnant woman who was in her 2nd trimester from Kupwara was also discharged,” she said.
“The total discharged patients from JLNM Hospital till now are 277. Now total positive patients admitted at JLNM Hospital at present are 56 in general Isolation Wards and 14 COVID-19 positive pregnant patients in Gynae Isolation Ward,” said Dr Shah.
