SRINAGAR: At least 20 CRPF personnel were among 101 persons who tested positive for the novel coronavirus at SKIMS laboratory on Tuesday.

Dr Ghulam Hassan Yatoo Deputy Medical Superintendent SKIMS said that 101 persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at the SKIMS laboratory.

“Of the 101 new cases, 20 are from CRPF Battalions, 15 from Kulgam, 14 from Pulwama, 11 from Budgam, 11 from Srinagar, 8 from Bandipora, 8 from Kupwara, 6 from Anantnag, 5 from Baramulla, 2 from Ganderbal and 1 from Shopian,” Dr Yatoo said.

He said 2574 samples had been tested at the lab in 24 hours out of which 2473 were negative.

As of now, J&K has 8776 cases, out of which 3320 are Active Positive, 4585 have recovered and 143 have died.
