SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir recorded 444 new Covid-19 cases including 138 from Jammu and 306 from Kashmir in the last 24 hours taking the total caseload to 313028, according to data released by the government on Wednesday.

As it continued with a declining trend of coronavirus infection, the Jammu and Kashmir reported four deaths, two from Jammu and two from Kashmir.

The active cases have now come down below seven thousand. Jammu and Kashmir have 6,782 active cases presently and has witnessed 4273 deaths so far.

According to data, a total of 839 people have been discharged in the last 24 hours, taking the total discharge to 301973 till date.

01new confirmed case of mucormycosis has been reported today, bringing the cumulative no of confirmed cases to 26 in the UT of J&K.

Besides this, 80.18 percent of the population above the age of 45 years has been vaccinated across Jammu and Kashmir.
