SRINAGAR: As many as 62 samples that were diagnosed for Covid-19 at the SKIMS laboratory have turned positive,  officials said.

Dr Ghulam Hassan Yatoo Deputy Medical Superintendent SKIMS told Kashmir Life that 62 persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at the SKIMS laboratory.

He said 3126 samples had been tested at the lab in 24 hours.

“Among 62 new positive cases, six are from Srinagar, one from Budgam, eight from Anantnag, six from Bandipora, one from Ganderbal, one form Kupwara, three from Baramulla, twelve from Kulgam,  17from Pulwamaand seven from Shopian,” he said.

As of now, J&K has reported 5617 cases, out of which 2402 are Active Positive, 3144 have recovered and 75 have died; 09 in Jammu division and 66 in Kashmir division.
