SRINAGAR: Jammu and Kashmir reported one more death due to the covid-19 in the last 24 hours, taking the fatality count to 1944, officials said on Friday.
The victim was an 85-year-old man from Yenihama Lar Ganderbal, and his death took the fatality count to 1944 in J&K—1222 in Valley and 722 in Jammu division, the officials told news agency GNS.
Srinagar district with 458 deaths tops the list followed by Jammu (371), Baramulla (174), Budgam (118), Kupwara (96), Pulwama (88), Anantnag (86), Doda (64), Bandipora (61), Udhampur (57), Kulgam (54), Rajouri (55), Kathua (53), Ganderbal (47), Shopian (40), Samba (40), Poonch (24), Ramban (21), Kishtwar(22), and Reasi (15).
