SRINAGAR: In the last 24 hours, new 4615 Covid cases were detected taking the active Covid19 cases across Jammu and Kashmir to 40270, of whom 29802 are in 10 districts of Kashmir alone.
In the latest detections, 1401 cases came from Jammu and 3214 from the Kashmir division. Srinagar continues to top the caseload with 889. In Srinagar alone, the number of active cases is 12017.
In the last 24 hours, seven persons died, four from Jammu and three from Kashmir. They all were suffering from Covid.
Ever since the pandemic got entry into Jammu and Kashmir, the health care set up in Jammu and Kashmir has so far carried out 21347214 crore Covid19 tests. In the last 24 hours, 77108 tests were carried out.
