SRINAGAR: As many as 74 samples that were diagnosed for Covid-19 at the SKIMS laboratory have turned positive,  officials said.

Dr Ghulam Hassan Yatoo Deputy Medical Superintendent SKIMS told Kashmir Life that 74 persons have been tested positive for COVID19 at the SKIMS laboratory.

“Of the 74 new cases, 24 are from Pulwama, 18 from Shopian, 9 are from Baramulla, 06 from Anantnag, 06 from BSF/CRPF Battalions, 05 from Kulgam, 3 from Srinagar, 1 from Kupwara, 1 from Bandipora and 1 from Budgam,” he said. “We are in the process of getting the details of the individuals.

He said 2653 samples had been tested at the lab in 24 hours.

As of now, J&K has 6623 cases, out of which 2566 are Active Positive, 3967 have recovered and 90 have died; 11 in Jammu division and 79 in Kashmir division.
