SRINAGAR: While strongly condemning the killing of a civilian near a CRPF camp in Zainapora area of Shopian, CPI(M) leader Mohamad Yousuf Tarigami has asked the authorities to probe the incident thoroughly to fix the responsibility.
In a statement, Tarigami said that the circumstances in which the civilian was shot dead need to be probed. Losing precious human life is an unfortunate and mere condemnation of such heinous incidents isn’t enough.
“Expressing solidarity with the bereaved family, he demanded compensation to the victim’s family,” said Tarigami in a statement.
