SRINAGAR: Two people were killed and another critically injured in a head-on collision between a Thar and a tipper near the Tengpora area in Srinagar on Thursday, officials said.
An official said that the collision occurred in the afternoon, resulting in the on-the-spot deaths of two individuals and injuries to another.
The deceased have been identified as Hammad of Lal Bazar and Azeem of Sanat Nagar. The injured person has been identified as Mohammad Eissa Ganie of Nowshera.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident. (KNO)
