Authorities in the Tourism department are likely to make the necessary arrangements for the relocation of the CRPF camp at Yusmarg.

According to the reports received by KNS, the officials at the tourism department are raising concerns that the presence of troops at various tourist spots across valley is causing inconvenience to the people visiting these places.

Talking to KNS, sources close to Yusmarg Developmental authority said that the necessary arrangements have been completed so that the relocation of the CRPF camp at Yusmarg could be made possible at the earliest. Sources further stated that the step has been taken so that the people visiting the place could not feel ‘insecure’.

Pertinently, several political parties in the recent past also raised concern that the lease to the army at Tosamaidan should not be extended further and that the place should be developed as the tourist spot of the valley.
