Under goodwill and civic action program 2016-17, 179 Bn CRPF has installed eight Solar LED street lights along with poles and other accessories at the public gathering place at Iqbal Market of Sopore and handed over to general public in a program organized Wednesday
According to our Sopore correspondent, Ram Niwas Sekhu, Commandant 179 Bn, CRPF formally handed over the solar LED street lights to the general public in the presence of the various senior civil officers.
“The efforts was highly appreciated by the local people and they showed their willingness to support us in our endeavor to bring peace and normalcy in the valley,” said the CRPF officer on the occasion.
SSP Sopore, Harmeet Singh was the chief guest on the occasion.
