SRINAGAR: A Central reserve Police Force personel (CRPF) was killed and his rifle was snatched after motor cycle born militants attacked them in Keisarmulla area of Chadoora in Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
A Police officer told news agency KDC that militants attacked CRPF ROP party of 117 battalion in Keisarmulla, injuring one CRPF trooper. Before escaping from the spot, the militants also managed to snatch the injured trooper’s rifle.
He was identified as ASI Badole, officer added.
The injured trooper was shifted to 92 base hospital for specialized treatments, where doctors declared him brought dead, the officer said.
Meanwhile whole area has been cordoned off to the nab the attackers.
