A CRPF man shot and killed himself in the official residence of Panchayati Raj minister, and National Conference senior leader, Ali Mohammad Sagar at Church Lane Srinagar on Friday morning.
Police sources told Kashmir Life that Rahul Kumar son of Ramesh Singh resident of Rampur Bihar, was on duty at around 9:20 when he fired himself with his service rifle. His colleagues rushed towards him and till they informed their officers about the incident, Rahul Kumar was death. He belonged to 79th battalion of CRPF.
