SRINAGAR: A CRPF man posted in South Kashmir’s Shopian district allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself with his service rifle on Tuesday.
An official said that the CRPF personnel shot himself with his own service rifle at the Horticulture Farm, Zainapora.
He has been identified as Param Veer of the 178 Battalion.
The official added that an investigation has been initiated to determine the circumstances and reasons behind this incident. —(KNO)
