A Paramilitary CRPF trooper died and two others including a civilian were injured in a road mishap at Wasun area of Ganderbal in central Kashmir on Thursday.

A police officer told GNS that a speedy car (Alto- JK01R-5208) hit two CRPF men of 181 bn and a pedestrian at Wasun in Kangan. “The CRPF men were standing near one of their vehicles which had suffered some technical defect and their other colleagues were trying to fix the problem when the incident occurred”.

All the injured were shifted to SKIMS where CRPF constable Prakash Singh (belt no. CT041709664) of Kathua succumbed to injuries, the official said.

He identified the other two injured as ASI of CRPF S Dobey and Mushtaq Munshi (civilian) of Binhama Ganderbal.

Meanwhile, police have registered a case and started further investigations in this regard.
