SRINAGAR: A Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) trooper ended his life by shooting himself in the Lethpora area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama district on Wednesday morning.
“At about 10 am in the morning a CRPF constable identified as T.Sriniwas of 90 battalions, presently attached with 185 CRPF battalion shot himself dead with his service rifle,” said an official.
A police officer while confirming the incident told that a case under relevant sections of law has been registered and the investigation into the matter is on. (KDC)
