SRINAGAR: A CRPF vehicle met with an accident in the Tangnar area of Doodhpathri in Khansahib tehsil of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Tuesday, officials said.
They said the vehicle, with its registration number yet to be confirmed, veered off the road and plunged into a deep gorge.
“Several CRPF personnel have reportedly sustained injuries in the accident,” an official said, adding that a rescue operation was launched soon after the incident.
They added that the exact number of injured personnel and their condition were not immediately known.
