Government on Thursday lifted the curbs from the residence of Hurriyat Conference (m) chairperson, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq.
On Wednesday government had put in curbs around the Mirwaiz residence and kept Umar Farooq, Kashmir’s head priest under house detention.
Pertinently, Umar was released four days ago from a 55-day long house detention.
On Monday, in a statement, Mirwaiz called upon people to join “special prayers” at Jamia Masjid Srinagar on Friday.
