Srinagar

Authorities decided to continue curfew in Jammu on Tuesday as well for the fifth consecutive day.

Curfew has been imposed in Jammu since February 15 due to arson and attacks by mobs on Kashmiri Muslims following the Pulwama attack that triggered violence across the country.

“The decision on its relaxation will be taken later in the day after assessing the situation,” said a police official.

On Monday the curfew was relaxed for a few hours from 2 pm to 5 pm in some parts of South Jammu areas.

Meanwhile, the internet services in Jammu snapped on Friday continued to remain suspended on Tuesday as well.
