SRINAGAR: Curfew-like restrictions continue in Kashmir parts for the second consecutive day on Friday in the wake of the death of senior separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani.

The markets across all districts of Kashmir valley remained closed and roads also remained blocked with concertina wires and manned by the police.

The government had imposed curfew-like restrictions on Wednesday late night to prevent protests in the aftermath of the death of senior separatist leader Syed Ali Geelani.
