SRINAGAR: Cluster University (CU) Srinagar on Thursday issued admission notification for the academic session 2021-22 for integrated Post Graduation, 3-Years Honor’s and other professional programmes.
As per the notification issued by CU, the date of submission of form will start forms February 5th while the last date is February 15.
Meanwhile, CU has added an integrated course in journalism with a duration of 5 years. Earlier only bachelors programme was offered by the varsity. The intake capacity according to the notification is 20 for honor’s and 20 for the integrated course.
The eligibility criteria for the bachelors and integrated courses are 10 + 2 with above 45% marks for open merit and 40% for reserved categories.
As per the notification, a candidate has to deposit online non-refundable application fee of Rs 700 and Rs 250 for each subsequent programme if he/she has to apply for more than one programme. University will conduct an entrance exam for the courses.
The selection of a candidate for admission in each programme shall be made strictly on the basis of the combined merit obtained in screening test comprising of subject-specific paper and academic merit obtained by the candidate in 10 + 2.
Entrance test for subject-specific paper shall have 60 multiple-choice type questions with the negative marking of 0.25 for each wrong answer.
However, for 5 years integrated course exit option is available for students after the completion of three years as per the University statues. For courses like 3-year BA/BSC/B.com/B.Sc (home science) and general programmes shall be issued separately after the declaration of result by Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE).
