SRINAGAR: The Cyber Cell unit of Jammu and Kashmir Police in DPO Jammu has thwarted a major financial fraud, putting a halt to a significant sum of Rs 1,02,000 out of Rs 1,15,000 involved in four separate online cybercrime complaints.

Recently, the Cyber Cell received four separate complaints regarding online financial fraud, totaling Rs 1,15,000. Acting swiftly, the Cyber Cell initiated an investigation into the matter. In a series of hectic efforts, the Cyber Cell managed to freeze Rs 1,02,000 of the total amount involved, preventing further harm to unsuspecting individuals.
