SRINAGAR: Cyber Police Kashmir on Monday cautioned social media users against spreading fake or misleading content, warning that legal action would be taken against violators.
In a post on X, Cyber Police Kashmir said that some accounts were circulating “fake and doubtful information” with the intent to mislead the public.
“All users are advised to refrain from posting such content,” the Cyber Police said, adding that violations would be dealt with in accordance with the law.
The warning comes amid growing concerns over misinformation on digital platforms in the region. (JKNS)
