Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) on Friday condoled the sad demise of Professor Dr  Daljit Singh,  who had played a very significant role in developing the department of pediatrics at Government Medical College Srinagar.

An alumnus of Medical College, Dr Singh was an astute pediatrician with extraordinary clinical skills. He was the regius Professor with a tremendous inclination towards research projects and diseases which were commonly inflicting children of the state.

Dr Daljit Singh who hails from the village of Kreeri breathed his last today at Narayana hospital Jammu.

Dr Suhail Naik president DAK said that his death is an irreparable loss for the Kashmiri community and will leave a void in the medical as well as the social field.
