SRINAGAR: Dakshana Foundation is offering free-of-cost coaching to students preparing for medical and engineering (JEE/NEET) entrance examinations.
The last date to apply is November 15, 2022.
Students studying in class 12 (Batch 2022-2023) in any government or aided school can apply for admission. The foundation offers admission under two programmes viz, One-year coaching programme and two-year coaching programme.
Currently, applications are open for the One-year coaching programme.
The one-year coaching programme offers free-of-cost coaching at Dakshana Valley, Pune.
Applicants must have scored more than 75 per cent in Mathematics and Science in class 10th state board exams.
Students must be enrolled in Class 12 Science for the current academic session in a state government school/government-aided school/corporation school/or a school that the government runs and manages.
Applicant’s family income from all sources should be less than 2 lac. However, there is no income restriction for PwD candidates.
Students from Jammu and Kashmir are encouraged to apply. Selections are made on basis of merit in Joint Dakshana Selection Test (JDST) conducted online from November to December.
Students of any JNV cannot apply for the programme.
