The Indian and Pakistani troops are exchanged mortar shells on Line of Control (LoC).
Reports from Rajouri on this side of LoC said that bombs landed near forward posts.
The Indian troops alleged that Pakistani troops violated the ceasefire along the LoC in Naushera sector of Rajouri district.
“Pakistani troops fired 82 mm mortar bombs, used small and automatic weapons in the firing on forward Indian posts in Laam Battalion area in Naushera from 2030 hours to 0130 hours,” reports said.
No one has been injured in the cross border shelling.
On September 29, Indian army claimed that its troops “carried out surgical strikes along LoC causing damages to the other side”. However, Pakistan termed the claims as lies.
