A court has extended the remand of arrested employees’ leader, Abdul Qayoom Wani, for three more days.
Except Wani, the other employees’ leaders including Ajaz Ahmed Khan, Fayaz Ahmed Shabnam, Farooq Ahmed Trali and others have already been released.
Sources told CNS that First Class Magistrate Srinagar extended the police remand of Abdul Qayoom Wani till Friday, November 11. He is currently lodged in Kupwara Jail.
Meanwhile, Jammu Kashmir Teachers Forum has expressed anguish over the continuous detention of Wani and has demanded his immediate release from the lock-up.
