In a major relief to tax payers, the J&K government has extended the date of filing of tax returns up to November 30, 2016.
In order issued on last Tuesday, the finance department of J&K government has issued an order directing for filing of tax returns of first and second quarter of 2016-17 up ton November 30, 2016.
This step has come as a relief to the tax paying community, especially trade and transporters, who have been observing shutdown since July 09, 2016 and doing no business.
