A Jama’at-e-Islami (JeI) Jammu and Kashmir high level delegation led by its Ameer Ghulam Muhammad Bhat Monday visited JVC hospital Bemina, wherein they inquired about the health condition of those who got injured during the on-going uprising since July 8.

“Delegation on the occasion felt that Indian forces have targeted hapless and oppressed Kashmiri people with extreme barbarity and brutality and had made a deliberate attempt to target vital parts of body,” a statement issued by JeI said this afternoon.

“The on-going movement has been started for the restoration of birth Right of Right to Self Determination which has been admitted by world bodies particularly UN,” they said.

Secretary General Ghulam Qadir Lone, Assistant Secretary General Gazi Mueen-ul-Islam Nadvi, Sheikh Bashir Ahmad, Khalid Bashir were part of the delegation. Ameer-e-Jama’at also expressed gratitude over the relief work done by Jama’at-e-Islami District Srinagar.

Meanwhile, one more delegation led by political bureau head Advocate Zahid Ali had gone to Karimabad, Pulwama and participated in a congregation which was organized jointly by several pro-freedom and religious parties in which lakhs of people participated.

“The on-going movement is a just cause and appealed world bodies to take serious note of Indian atrocities committed in Kashmir and build a pressure on India to stop human rights violations,” Zahid told the massive gathering.

He pushed UN to play its active role in resolving Kashmir dispute as per the wishes and aspirations of concerned people.

Moreover, Zahid Ali urged participants to be united at this crucial juncture so that the “ill designs of anti-Kashmir movement people will be defeated and urged participants to follow Islamic teachings in letter and spirit”.
