Education Minister Naeem Akhtar who survived a stone pelting assault in Bandipora last week has an “attack” on his Srinagar residence too, reports said.
Sources said that late last night some youth on two bikes hurled two “petrol bombs” towards Akhtar’s Parraypora residence.
“It broke some glass panes but fell out of the house within the courtyard,” one official said.
“The cracking of window panes got the attention of the neighbours who informed Akhtar.”
There was no injury to anybody around, sources pointed out.
The family lives in their official residence. Akhtar’s children are out.
