Hitting out at Pakistan for declaring slain popular Hizb commander as Burhan Wani a martyr, Union home minister Rajnath Singh said on Thursday that “there should be no glorification or eulogising of militants as martyrs.”

“There are no good militants or bad militants,” Rajnath Singh said while addressing the SAARC home ministers’ meet in Islamabad, the capital city of Pakistan.

“There should be strongest of action not only against militants but also against organisations, individuals and nations who support violence,” Singh said.

Singh called for isolation of those countries which have become safe haven for militants “Those who provide support, encouragement, give sanctuary and safe haven and assistance to militancy must be isolated,” he said.

Pakistan has declared Hizb commander Burhan Wani a “martyr” and observed a black day against his killing.
