Minister for Revenue, Relief and Rehabilitation, Syed Basharat Bukhari Monday took stock of the situation, at a high level meeting, in the aftermath of flash floods in Jammu and cloudburst in Tral are of district Pulwama.
The Minister directed the Divisional Commissioners of Kashmir and Jammu provinces to make assessment of the losses of human lives, property and livestock affected in the floods and submit a report to the government for further action, so that the affected people could be compensated, an official spokesperson said this evening.
The Minister also directed the Divisional Commissioners to release necessary assistance to the people under SDRF norms immediately.
