#Day36: Army went ‘berserk’ in Saderkoot Bandipora

Army on Saturday allegedly ransacked scores of residential houses in Saderkoot Bala area of Bandipora district.

Sources said that residents of Saderkoot Bala had staged a sit-in and scores of protesters were sitting on the road as few vehicles of 13RR, army reached and chased them away.

A local told Kashmir Life, over phone, “They entered our houses and started beating up all, men, women,old or kids, and then damaged our houses and private vehicle. At least 50 people are injured in three villages: Khan Mohalla, Main chow and Kane Mohalla.”

“As I am talking to you, you could hear gun shots from the bus yard. They have stationed their vehicles in yard. We are afraid of them,” he added.
