Muneer Ahmad Dar has been elected as new chairman of the J&K Yateem Foundation on Thursday.
He is Central Executive of J&K Yateem Foundation.
A statement issued by J&K Yateem Foundation said that he is 9th Chairman and will continue this term for a period of two year.
“He was elected through election process held in a meeting of Central Executive Committee (CEC) members held at Bait-ul-Hilal Jawahar Nagar Srinagar, here on Wednesday attended by 20 CEC Members,” the statement said.
After the election, Chairman JKYF nominated Syed Abdul Hamid as General Secretary and Syed Mohammad Hidyatullah as Secretary Finance, the statement added.
The election was held under the supervision of former Chairman J&K Yateem Khana Prof Abdul Aziz Mir assisted by Farooq Ahmad Bhat, Senior Volunteer of District Budgam.
