Dukhtaran-e-Millat Chairperson, Syedah Aasiyeh Andrabi, on Monday cautioned people of Kashmir that they shouldn’t fall prey to the “deceptive and hypocritical” policies of pro-India politicians.

“Every pro-India party, whether in power or in opposition, is same when it comes to oppress Kashmiri people. These people have no concern about the miseries faced by the people. They shed crocodile tears only for their vested interests and for the power,” she said while referring to the meeting of Opposition pro-India parties who are in New Delhi to “appraise Indian president and PM about Kashmir situation”.

She said, “every pro-India politician belonging to NC, PDP, BJP or Congress were showing fake concern about what is happening in Kashmir. So people must understand this deception and should make no differentiation between any of them. They all are same and are here to give an extension to India’s brutal rule.”

“It is the policies unleashed by all these parties that today the whole Kashmir is on roads. These people can’t be our well-wishers and we have nothing to do with whatever they say and claim about Kashmir,” she added.

The lead woman Hurriyat leader said that people must not pay heed to the “useless activities of these politicians”. “All they want is power and nothing else,” she said.

“Narendra Modi’s response to these visiting pro-India politicians explains their uselessness with regard to resolution of Kashmir issue,” she said.

“Modi told them they are ready to talk to anyone under the Indian constitution. It is like rubbing salt to our wounds. If we had to seek the resolution of K-issue under Indian Constitution, then what was the need to give countless sacrifices? People of Kashmir rejects such proposal  as we consider India as an aggressor and occupation and we  will continue the struggle until India accepts Kashmir as a disputed territory,” she added.

She further said, “India has unleashed every form of brutality on Kashmiris.”

“We are being killed, maimed, tortured and detained. India has crossed all levels of brutality in Kashmir,” she said.

“I, however, appeal the people to remain steadfast in their resolve. The coming days may be more difficult but we must continue our resistance until India gives in to our just demands,” she added.

She also urged Pakistan to further toughen its stand regarding resolution of Kashmir. “The way government of Pakistan is pressurizing India to resolve K-issue as per UN resolutions is an apt policy and it should pursue it with stronger means and resolve,” she added. “Pakistan should pay no heed to the negative Indian propaganda against it.”

She also expressed solidarity with the family members of Irfan Fayaz, an 18-year-old boy, who was killed in cold blood by forces in Fateh Kadal on Sunday.

“All I can say to the family members of our martyrs is that may Allah SWT accept their martyrdom and in return may he give us freedom from India,” she said.
