All Parties Hurriyat Conference (g) chairperson Syed Ali Geelani on Wednesday said that as Muslims people should believe in Almighty Allah and seek His help and guidance.

He said, “Moomin is not sacred of death, but he thinks it as a journey from a mortal universe to an immortal one. Instead of depending and looking at humanly and worldly resources, we should trust in Allah and jointly help and support the on-going movement.”

Geelani was addressing a huge pro-freedom rally at Verinag Islamabad and Dogripora Pulwama in South Kashmir today, statement issued by Hurriyat Conference (g) said this evening.

“Our 6 lakh people have been martyred, thousands of women molested, more than 600 graveyards and ten thousand people disappeared in custody, such huge investment has made our movement priceless and it can’t be sold out for petty personnel gains,” Geelani told the mass pro-freedom gatherings.

Commenting on the prevailing situation in Jammu and Kashmir, Geelani said, “for the last 47 days, will and determination of our nation has unnerved the Indian rulers and they use every method to weaken this movement.”

Referring to the 1, 40, 000 job package to youth, the ailing Hurriyat chief said, “this is nothing, but an eyewash and a drama just to mislead and misguide the youth, as they know they are leading this movement from the front.”

Amid intense pro-freedom slogans, he said, “such moves are only to trap them and detract them from the present movement otherwise they are least bothered for their welfare.”

However, he said, “our youth are mature enough to get to the roots of these political gimmicks and wouldn’t succumb to the flunkies of Indian despotism.”

More so, the statement said, “Indian armed forces presence swell with each passing day and this is only to break our will but let me make it clear that even if India sends whole of its army with its full might, we will never yield to their military aggression.”

Commenting on the “crocodile tears” shed by the “henchmen of India”, about the education of our kids, Geelani said, “on one hand these so-called ministers beat the drum of depriving education and on the other hand their armed forces occupy these educational institutes. These hypocrite dramas have no takers here in Kashmir.”

Referring to the recent “talks rhetoric” by Prime Minister, Geelani said, “despite our 70 year long struggle with all its death and destruction, Indian imperialistic attitude is still same.”

“Talks under the Indian constitution are nothing but wastage of time and it has been going on for the last 7 decades. We don’t accept the Indian constitution at all, so talks within its framework is out of question and until India accepts Kashmir as a disputed territory and start demilitarization, our struggle will continue come what may,” the Hurriyat patriarch said.
