Ms Mehbooba, CM J&K, who flew to New Delhi on Friday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday morning.
Reports said that CM Ms Mufti drove to 7 RCR residence of PM where the duo is discussing the prevailing Kashmir situation. The meeting started around 10:30 AM.
Kashmir is witnessing a renewed mass civil uprising and at least 70 civilians have been killed while over 8500 have been injured by forces during the mass protests triggered by the killing of popular militant commander Burhan Wani.
This is second visit of CM Mehbooba to Delhi in last 50 days while Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh also flew to Srinagar twice on two-day visit and met cross-section of people.
