Kashmira Singh is no more. He was 86.
He was father of Superintendent of Police, Sopore, Harmeet Singh Mehta.
According to close family sources, Singh breathed his last Saturday late night around 11 Pm following a massive heart attack.
They said late Singh’s cremation will be held at 1 Pm today in Karan Nagar area.
“He was unwell for a long time now,” family sources informed “he was suffering from Alzheimer’s.”
A family member of the Singh family said that since Harmeet was posted in North Kashmir’s Sopore, he was unable to attend his father. “For last 50 days, the father-son duo did not see each other,” he said.
