Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, a Hindu Guru, considered close to Prime Minister Narendra Modi held discussions with Kashmiri preacher, Ghulam Rasool Hami at the Art of Living ashram in Bengaluru.
“Had a detailed discussion with Dr Ghulam Rasool Hami, founder of the Karwan-I-Islami on the Kashmir issue,” read a tweet posted by Sri Sri Ravi Shankar around 8 AM on Thursday.
Reports said that the meeting with Sri Sri was held “to find a solution on how to bring peace back to the Valley”.
Last Saturday, Sri Sri met with Muzzafar Wani, father of slain militant commander Burhan Wani. Wani claimed that the meeting was a private affair and came into the public eye after a picture of Sri Sri with Wani was posted on Twitter.
The tweet, about Hami-Shankar, posted by @SriSri on micro-blogging social networking site, Twitter, went viral with at least 1300 re-tweets and so many ‘likes’.
