Massive, undeclared restrictions have been imposed in south Kashmir’s Islamabad and Kulgam town a day before Eid.

Like on Sunday, all the routes leading to the town has been sealed and only after proper ID check, vehicles are allowed to move.

“At Khanabal, more than 50 vehicles remain stranded and are not being allowed to move inside town,” said a doctor. “Despite no declared curfew I was stopped five times from Khanabal to Lal-Chowk (Islamabad).”

Two major Eidgahs of the Islamabad has also been sealed with large number of security presence, inside and outside.

Meanwhile, in Qazigund town, curfew was declared over the scheduled rally going to be held there today.

“Early morning announcements were made that curfew has been imposed and people are requested to remain inside their houses,” said a local of Qazigund.

In the Schien Dialgam, large number of forces was deployed over the scheduled rally of Millat-e-Itihad.
