A Journalist was injured in stone pelting incident in Srinagar on late Monday evening.
Anees Zargar, who works with a New Delhi based media organizations, was returning home from Uri in North Kashmir where in a deadliest attack on army, 18 army men were killed on September 18, 2016.
“I returned to Uri on Monday morning for second consecutive day to cover the militant attack,” Anees told Kashmir Life, “I along with other several media colleagues was on way home around 8:30 PM from Uri when our vehicle was attacked last late evening.”
“When we reached near Chek-i-Hokersar at Lawaypora, near Noor Hospital on Srinagar-Muzaffarabad highway, some protestors attacked the vehicle we were aboard,” he said, “I was hit by a stone in my left arm.”
Some stones even hit the O B Van which was following the vehicle Anees was travelling in.
Anees was rushed to Bone and Joints Hospital Barzulla where doctors after treating his broken arm said that it was fractured in the incident.
