#Day77: Clashes Erupt In Chrar-e-Sharif, Seven Two Protestors Injured

SRINAGAR

Intense clashes erupted in Chrar-e-Sharif in central Kashmir on Friday morning.

Local sources said that forces including CRPF and police men lobbed tear gas and fired pellets on civilians holding pro-freedom protests.

Reports said that resistance leadership had called for Chrar-e-Sharif ‘Chalo’ today where a mass gathering was expected to be held on the occasion of mandatory Friday congregational prayers.

“Huge deployment of CRPF and police has been made since early morning,” a resident of Gulshan Abad said, “even check points at some places have been erected.”

The local informed that at least two civilians sustained minor were injuries. “They are being locally treated.”

Severe restrictions have been imposed in Kashmir on 77th consecutive day of anti-India uprising on Friday.
