All Parties Hurriyat Conference led by Syed Ali Geelani on Monday strongly condemned the “murder” and shelling on the funeral procession of little Junaid Ahmad Akhoon at Eidgah Srinagar on last Saturday morning.
“This is not for the first time that forces are involved in such heinous and horrifying crimes at the behest and directions of their rulers,” the Hurriyat Conference said in a statement issued this evening.
“So-called champions of the future of coming generation and their education, should at least introspect themselves, and think with a cool and stable mind that what answer they will have for the wailing mother of this 7th standard student who was neither in any protest nor holding any stone in his hands,” The statement said.
“How come puppet CM, who herself is a female and mother, soothe the wounds of Junaid’s mother, who yells and cries not to take my beloved son to a distant Mazaar, instead bury him here near the house so that I can visit him and his grave daily,” the statement added. “His unfortunate and grief stricken father is yet to come to the terms that his little buddy has been crushed under the heavy boots of the oppressor in his own backyard where he used to play with him.”
The Hurriyat Conference said that the “cruel and inhuman” political fig-leaf to the mangled face of the “so-called Indian democracy, shamelessly” offering compensation for the blood of innocents, thinking that “every Kashmiri has a price tag of their blood and honour, but the befitting reply by the bereaved family of little Junaid was a smack on their ugly face, which was encouraging and a boost for the resolute of the freedom loving people”.
The Hurriyat Conference while condoling and consoling the bereaved family of Junaid said, “we as a nation should make a pledge to the sacred blood of all martyrs including Junaid, that, come what may we will never ever compromise our ardour of freedom.”
While hailing the Kashmiri brave hearts who rescued the injured army men trapped in an accident on Srinagar-Jammu Highway, the Hurriyat Conference said, “even this human gesture by Kashmiris was portrayed, by the venomous, biased and slanted Indian media houses, against the pro-freedom populace, proving and testifying their wicked and disgusting mind set.”
“Despite the fact that Indian army is instrumental in killing and maiming our generation especially youth, our fearless people risking their own life saved these army Jawans. Unabated killing spree, dance of death throughout the valley, molestation and rape of women and destruction and devastation of our property by the Indian armed forces has earned them a very bad name, but our humane people are always on the forefront whenever any tragedy or calamity struck them, be it Amarnath Yatra devotees, there road accidents or floods etc, as our faith teaches us not to discriminate sufferings on the basis of caste, creed or religion and we are proud of it,” the stamen added.
The Hurriyat Conference further said, “it is not the ‘Insaaniyat and Kashmiriyat’ of the stooges and their shameless carapace of the brute oppressor who, for their comforts and lavishness trade the blood and flesh of their own people.”
Geelani led Hurriyat Conference reiterated their appeal to the people specially women to support and make success the programs of the joint resistance leadership “so that this uncontrolled bloodshed of innocents is made to stop”.
