J&K police on Tuesday said fire broke out in the shops at Qamarwari Srinagar, resulting in damage to thirteen shops. Fire was brought under control by fire tender.
Meanwhile, fire broke out in a Saw-mill belonging to Mohammad Ramzan Matta, son of Sona-ul-lah Matta, resident of Aloosa Ghat at Aloosa, Bandipora, resulting in damage to the structure.
Fire brigades took fire under control, police said.
In another incident, fire broke out in the residential house of Abdul Rehman Mir, resident of Kasum Bagh Hakbara Hajin, Bandipora, resulting in damage to the structure.
According to the police, fire broke out in the shop of Mohammad Akbar Dar at Rather Mohalla Kaloosa Bandipora, resulting in damage to the shop.
However, no loss or life was reported in these incidents, police added.
Meanwhile, police said that one person injured in a road accident in Kulgam district.
The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment.
A Scooty bearing registration number JK03D 7672 was hit by an Alto-K10 car bearing chassis number 271846.
“Injured was identified as Manzoor Ahmad Sheikh, son of Mohammad Khalil, resident of Sadoora at Mir Bazaar Kulgam,” police said.
