Khyber Medical Institute is organizing a clinical check-up and counselling program for patients of Coronary artery disease (CAD) who have undergone ballooning/stenting on October 15th & 16th 2010.
“This healthcare initiative will be totally free of charges as desired by the management,” a statement issued by the Khyber Hospital said on Wednesday afternoon. “The programme will be punctuated by a talk on prevention of heart attack.”
“We are glad to inform that any relevant investigations advised by the present cardiologists will be free of charges to the patients including ECG, Chest X-ray, ECHO, TMT as well as Cardiology Consultation,” the statement added.
However, the statement added, to enhance the efficiency of this public healthcare initiative by Khyber Management, it is reiterated that in this module only those patients who have undergone angioplasty/stenting from any hospital will be registered.
“In future, we will entertain different sub-set of cardiac patients, Insha Allah,” the statement asserted.
