Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar has placed Patwari Halqa Rainawari under suspension and attached him in the office of Additional Deputy Commissioner (R) Srinagar.
The action has been taken on the basis of complaint filed before Revenue Minister about the allegations of misconduct by the said Patwari Nazir Ahmed Baba, Additional Deputy Commissioner Srinagar has been appointed as enquiry officer to conduct enquiry in to the matter within a period of 15 days, an official spokesperson said on Thursday evening.
By another order, Girdwar Chattabal has also been placed under suspension and attached in the office of Tehsildar Pantha Chowk pending enquiry into the allegations against him. Additional Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar has been appointed as enquiry officer to conduct enquiry into the matter.
